The MCBCC continues to debate the path to the best Fuel Selection program going forward. The Commission votes to dig deeper into possibly returning to normal gas and diesel fuels. Compressed Fuels may be phased out until better results can be expected.

War impact in the Oil Producing Middle East and Ukraine and world market impacted by sanctions has impacted fuel prices around the world and most importantly here in Marion County.

High CNG relative gallon equivalent prices, Conversion problems, Diesel nonperformance and better than expected fuel usage for gasoline resulting in penalty charges for Marion County taxpayers. These problems bringing Section 18 Force Majeure Act of War ISIS and other war fronts into action canceling the CNG Agreement.
